Thank you for your support!

Thanks to author Dorsey Bronson and YOUR gifts, the LSU Shreveport Food Pantry will be able to serve even more students!

Bronson, a member of the Choctaw Apache Tribe of Ebarb, Louisiana, recounted her research into the tribe’s history and discussed the book she co-authored with other tribe members during a luncheon sponsored by the LSUS Foundation.

She generously donated books to raise money for the food pantry, which has seen a 200 percent increase in the amount of food distributed to students this fall compared to the same time last year. The food pantry distributed 4,776 pounds of food to 115 students between August 1 and September 16.
